Bear & Fox - Mini-comic zine
Regular price
$3.00
This 10-page comic is a story about two friends, petty arguments, and dire consequences. When Bear and Fox go for a hike in the forest, seemingly small differences in preference create large rifts.
Intro from the book:
There is violence in this story: graphic, bloody, violence. But, in the real story, none of that actually went down. In the real story, these characters never get within 100Km of one another.
What happens in this story plays out a million times every day. It is so simple, familiar, relatable, tragic and completely irreconcilable, with no winners or losers. That is what compelled me to write this story.
There is nuance, history, and subtext behind everything, and it colours everyone's actions and reactions. Nothing is black and white. There are just shades of grey between who is right and who is wrong.
I don't judge either of these characters too harshly. I do feel bad for both of them.
The locations, names, and species have been changed.
